I am going to share a story with you that very few people know about. This story is about one of my earliest memories. It’s about overcoming a sense of pain that has followed me into my adult years and, somehow, eventually gave me purpose. I contemplated sharing such a vulnerable moment in my life, especially with strangers, but I am finally at a point where I am ready to share my truth and let my truth guide the way. Top three mindful parenting tips you can start practicing NOW
Mindful parenting is a way of raising children that focuses on being present and in the moment, having the ability to respond to them with understanding and compassion, and is about taking the time to really see, hear, and understand your child, and about responding to their needs in a way that is loving and supportive. There will be times when you find it easy to be present and in the moment and listen with your whole heart. There will also be times when you find yourself getting frustrated or reacting in a way that you regret. The important thing is to keep trying. And remember, that even when you are not at your best, you are still a good parent.
